Ok here's the story, I was running Windows ME, then I upgraded to Windows XP. After about a year of great behaving from windows XP, I decided to install windows 2000. There have been some power outages oround here and everytime the power went out the computer would just go off. I heard this causes problems to the OS. Now the computer has some programs missing ie paint, calculator, sometimes Explorer just crashes for no reason, and IE just playing won't start up. Now I need to install an OS again, I decided to install windows 2000, here is where the problem starts, the win2k cd is not a boot up cd, and I was wondering how could I install it, I can't install it right from XP because it says it's an older system and it just won't work.
