I'd recommend it for the fact that Gnome 2.0 is very sharp. It's one of the nicest looking desktops I've seen and used. They could improve some of the configuration windows, not the design but the options (in order to make them more understandable). I think this is the desktop that we are going to see Sun Microsystems offer to the general public in about 8 months when they come out with their commercial line. The setup is very sharp in Mandrake 9.0. it makes RedHat look very bleak. The Gnome 2.0 desktop has put one over onto KDE, which will have to respond.

Looking forward when others get Mandrake 9.0. Let me know what you think. Oh and another medium size enchancement (non visual). When you install individual packages, it automatically provides you with a list of dependancies and resolves them for you with one click. This is done interactively.
