Another thread inspires me to ask, how does everyone here pronounce "char?" Do you say "care," because that's the sound those letters make in the word "character," or do you say "char," as in, "I was trying to cook my steak medium rare but charred it instead?"
I usually say the latter, for some reason.
(This question might not be as meaningful for people who's first language isn't English. All bets are off as to how YOU folks pronounce it)
