BTW, I'm waiting until the UNIX name is changed before the wiki is set up. It's been just over 24 hours and still no change, but they do say wait 48 hours

Don't forget sometimes you should or even have to use void main() in C (such as on non-standard embedded systems). Scolding someone for doing the right thing would be rather harsh
Hmm, it's strange that the name still hasn't changed. It's been way over 48 hours. At least, I'm assuming it hasn't changed, because I can access cboardwiki.sf.net but not cpwiki.sf.net.
Sorry, Elysia, this is a Linux system . . . but I've downloaded your code and I'll compile it as soon as I can.
Nope, still on vacation. Don't expect regular contributions.dwks, back from vactaion? :\

Oh no, everything's mixed up. The name of the project is "cpwiki", but the URL is still cboardwiki. http://sourceforge.net/projects/cboardwiki
I see that a UNIX name change doesn't "move all data", presumably including cboardwiki.sf.net: http://sourceforge.net/docs/D01/en/u...ix_name_change
So what to do?
Well, I guess we create yet another project called cpwiki or something else (maybe we can delete the old one?); contact sourceforge to see if they can rename it for us; or stick with cboardwiki.
If we do end up creating a new project, please, let's not do it so quickly . . . that's a fantastic way to mess up.

Mmm hmm, that does seem to be the logical course of action -- however:
If there's a way to delete SourceForge projects by hand, then we can do it without bothering the staff.SourceForge.net support will operate with limited coverage during the holidays.
Effective 2007-12-21, issue response will be limited to major site defects and outages.
All other issues will be deferred for handling until after 2008-01-01.
But it's irrelevant. It seems I was wrong -- the UNIX name change hasn't kicked in yet.
I guess it just takes longer at this time of the year.Project UNIX Name: cboardwiki
The UNIX name for your project can be changed by submitting a self service rename request.

zacs7, you did request a UNIX name change, right? It still hasn't happened yet.
I tried renaming it myself, and got the message "Your project is already scheduled to be renamed." So I suppose it is happening, it's just being slloooowwwwwwww. (1, 2, 4, 8, . . . .)

Yes I did, I changed the project name myself to cpwiki (you can change it at anytime). Contact sf.net, I'm at work atm... It's been 1 week and the UNIX name still hasn't changed. It's a problem on there side...
Again, I haven't set up the wiki because I was waiting for the name change -- but I've been working recently and haven't been on the interzweb
Well, why don't you send SourceForge a note next time you get "on the interzweb"? It's 2008 (Happy New Year, BTW), and the UNIX name still hasn't changed. I'd send them something myself, except I wasn't the one who originally changed it (probably won't make a difference, but you never know), and I'm probably online even less frequently than you at the moment.

Okies done.
Happy new year indeed, although it's already the 2nd
Well it's done, and I finished setting it up (a real **** on sf.net).
http://cpwiki.sourceforge.net/
I guess make an account if you want to help and work from there... However -- The wiki will need extensive testing and 'bedding in' so it doesn't screw up.
Well, thank you very much. I added a few pages, including the main page (I justs copied your description from sf.net/projects/cpwiki), the about page (I linked to this thread), and a skeleton void main page.
Oh, and don't worry if you have to upgrade the Wiki or something -- I've saved the contents of my void main page.
Just to clarify: cboardwiki finally got renamed to cpwiki, and I am back from vacation . . . .

So how is the wiki coming along? All maintenance done and so, ready for contribution?
As a side note, I've never used any other parser before and so when I checked out the examples dwks mentioned, I didn't understand much. They typically seem to assume you know about parser before learning how to use them.
