    [VS2003] Line highlighting alá Code::Blocks?

    I like the way Code::Blocks highlights the current line with a nice shade of cream and I've just investigated adding a column-80 right margin which could be done by adding a registry value (http://blogs.msdn.com/saraford/archi...15/257953.aspx)

    Anyone know if this is possible with VS?

    I don't know if it's possible, but there's a simple solution: use Code::Blocks.

    Actually, strike that, I know it's possible: I once saw a configured MSVC 6.0 that highlighted the current line. Check the settings, you should be able to change it without touching the registry.

    Well I've changed the colour of every setting and looked through all the editor setting pages and nothing is there. There is "current statement" which by default is yellow background with black text, but nothing (not even while debugging) goes that colour so I haven't got a clue what that's for.
