I am in a desperate need of hiring a trustworthy developer and controlling a few design-wise modifications in a couple of PrestaShop themes that I recently purchased. The overall intention is to give my existing online store a total new look. I've already seen so many ecommerce websites that were demonstrating poor coding practices and the total lack of understanding of the required language. My question is what I should keep in mind when allowing a developer access to my environment to make some layout changes? Besides, what steps have to be taken to avoid the danger of losing previous modifications?
