    Best compiler FreeBSD?

Hi, I want and I'll believe. What do you think is the best compiler, most stable and without bugs in FreeBSD, please argue if you can

    Thank you.

Sorry, I'm not interested in giving you the religious debate you are seeking.

There are plenty of technical and non-technical (i.e. licensing) reasons for and against gcc in comparison with Clang/LLVM. It is highly subjective which compiler is better. Both have their share of instabilities, bugs, and gaps in standard compliance.
Right 98% of the time, and don't care about the other 3%.

If I seem grumpy or unhelpful in reply to you, or tell you you need to demonstrate more effort before you can expect help, it is likely you deserve it. Suck it up, Buttercup, and read this, this, and this before posting again.

I just googled and doesn't FreeBSD come with gcc and clang?

Those are two excellent compilers right there! Done and done.

Honestly though, do compilers really matter all that much? If it's up to date, who cares? Just write teh C++!
