Hi, everyone. I need to create a system wich be able to receive phone calls in any pc and display the number of the telephone wich is calling. I haven't pretty much idea even about how to start with it. So, any suggestion and recommendation would be really appreciated. Regards guys.

That sounds hard, but I would be very interested to hear how you get on with this. I'm coding an Epos system and one of my client's requests was to get incoming phone numbers. I told him I'd do the important/easy bits first. VOIP may be the way to go, but unfortunately I dont really know anythig about it.
Maybe TAPI (Telephony API) can be of some use to you.
Sounds good, but I'm guessing its Windows only? Any multiplatform APIs for this?
I believe that TSAPI (Telephony Services API) from ATT might be multi platform. I'm just not sure.
