Most boards get a "Happy New Year" thread by now. Is it taboo or something to do so on this one?

It's because we use a different calender here.

If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

This is the only board that I visit that didn't have one. Not surprised though, this isn't
your typical, warm-fuzzy board.
Hey hey hey now! We are very warm and fuzzy here! We just like to save the warm-fuzziness for the elite nobility. Peasant users don't receive of it.
It'll always be them and us; Rich vs. Poor, Smart vs. Dumb, Expert vs. Novice. It's a good thing that death is the great equalizer, else I doubt Heaven n' Hell could accommodate so many swelled heads.
In my opinion we were all too busy celebrating to worry about what was on the board or not.
I had a wild night too, Sly.
Was at a friend's watching a movie. Heard fireworks and gathered I'd missed the countdown. Ah well.
