I wonder how this guy made it to 1.4k posts.

You've just created the perfect opportunity for someone to say something like "that's more than you'll ever get" or "I wonder how this guy made it to 100 posts" or "and who was searching for 'what is kernel32.dll?'" or something like that. Not that I'm of that opinion, but I think you're looking for trouble.
Besides, if someone actually didn't know something, wouldn't it be better to post something (no matter how stupid) and find the answer, rather than go on programming with a hole in their knowledge?

They would be really pushing their luck then, I'm not to far from that.
>> "and who was searching for 'what is kernel32.dll?'"
Acctually, I put the 'highlight' in the path myself, I was really searching for api hooking.
>> but I think you're looking for trouble.
You're probably right.
You're currently averaging 1.61 posts per day, and you need 1400-1330 = 70 posts. That's still 70/1.61 = 43.4782608695652 days left -- plenty of time for you to post another few polls and get banned again. No, I'm just kidding.>> "that's more than you'll ever get"

This might be considered a case of a popular saying . . .
Seriously, an external observer might consider you the most likely user to be banned in a given period of time, especially since you've upset some senior members (i.e., Govtcheez). [edit] But never fear, it seems that not everyone who upsets Govtcheez gets banned. [/edit]
[edit=3] It's pretty funny how I found that thread. I clicked on active users, selected a bot at random and checked out the thread it was viewing, and there you have it. [/edit]
[edit=2]Yeah, I was pretty sure that was the case. You don't usually add question marks to search queries, at least I don't. [/edit]>> "and who was searching for 'what is kernel32.dll?'"
Actually, I put the 'highlight' in the path myself, I was really searching for api hooking.

Now, that you mention it again, I am still ........ed about being banned with no explination at all.

I think it was all of the polls. For some reason, lots of people don't like a new poll every three minutes about something like the best way to say "yes".
I don't mind polls, as long as they're about a reasonable topic. They give you something to click on. But there you have it. I would go easy on the polls if I was you.

I don't think I was posting on one of my polls when Thatoes banned me. ...Was I?
>> This might be considered a case of a popular saying . . .
When did I ask a question like that?
>> But never fear, it seems that not everyone who upsets Govtcheez gets banned.
I know, but anyone with an even comparible head that says anything gets Govtcheez riled up anyway.
I think the polls were part of the reason, at least.
Look, you shouldn't be arguing with me about it. I'm neutral about the issue. I think you were posting a few too many polls, but it was at least partially Govtcheez's fault that you got banned. http://cboard.cprogramming.com/showthread.php?t=91351

Making fun of someone is a great way to get yourself banned, again.
Oh and I have over 5k posts and I don't know what that particular DLL does. And I'm positive I still know a hell of a lot more C and C++ then you do.
In case anyone's interested:
From http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/K/kernel32_dll.htmlKernel32.dll is the 32-bit dynamic link library found in the Windows operating system kernel. It handles memory management, input/output operations, and interrupts. When Windows boots up, kernel32.dll is loaded into a protected memory space so other applications do not take that space over.

You can't be serious right? Do a board search for all posts started by Queatrix and you will find your answer. Now, that you mention it again, I am still ........ed about being banned with no explination at all.

It was posted in 2002, the same month he joined up, possibly his first post. The last post he has recorded that I can see was on 02-19-2006.
Like the guy can't learn a few things in almost 4 years.
Consider your own life four years ago until the present. Hopefully you can say you've improved in that amount of time.
I wonder how this guy made it to 2.0k posts.
Incidentally, I have just discovered that I created a grand total of 5 programming related threads here at cprogramming.com forums. One per year, hmm...
