At school they taught me Brittish English, my teacher told us that American English is different from Brittish English. Is that true?

I see. It's just like something we have in the Netherlands. I am from Friesland, a part of the Netherlands. We use a language which differs greatly from normal Dutch. Normal Dutch looks and sounds like Vlaams (in Belgium), I don't know if there are really differences between Vlaams and Dutch. But it seems that the people from Belgium are mastering Dutch bether than the Dutchmen themselves. :-)
Well, in Friesland we don't mind. We say: Fryslan boppe!

What does it mean? Friesland above all (Friesland boven)? I sometimes listen to Twarres (wer bisto) and I don't understand any of it. Maybe sometimes a word but that's it.

Yes. In Friesland we have our own language and culture (sports etc.). It's almost the same situation like Wales in Great-Brittain.
Some people in Friesland believe that it should be seperated from the Netherlands, but I don't think that's very clever. Luckily just a few Frisians are having such ideas of how the world should be.

Wer bisto = waar ben jij = where are you. Fries, the language in Friesland, sounds a bit like Danish. When I'm in Denmark, Sweden or a northern state of Germany (Ost-Friesland) I have little problems understanding them. It's very different from Dutch, though both languages have the same origin.

I see someone already explained, but here goes the German version of a language:
Well, Zustand (condition) is a noun. In German, all nouns begin with a capital letter. ALL nouns.
If you say "der normale Zustand", normal is an adjective. ( I hope... been a while since I did that at school). Now, if you put it in one word: Normal-Zustand, as one of them is a noun, the whole word becomes a noun and both parts become capitalized.

LOL...we have tv station here called SBS, a multicultural station where they show movies from pretty much everywhere in the world. Pratically every european movie involves either a woman fighting for independance, a guy out to get some action, a bunch of people talking in a cafe, lesbian vampyres, or soccer...

Yeah that was okay, there's another movie I think is German called "Stalingrad" about the battle in Stalingrad during WW2. It was made like 10 years ago, and it was pretty violent (like Saving Private Ryan).
