can you get to your lock from the top down? (ie. if you got a slight opening at the top of your door, could you put something down through the top and hit an automatic lock button?)

I've seen them put a small wedge in the top of the door just enough to kinda "bend" it open so they could stick a small wire down through it... pretty slick, that's why i asked.
What did I do? Played some old UT... finished downloading a 130mb Service Pack for Visual Studio... ..... yeah, pretty much sat on my ass...
