ATM doesn't work on XP and the free virus scanner you guys gave me the link to throws up errors about an install file. I'll try re-downloading it, though......just my luck.

Did Zone Alarm tell you if the trojans tried to 'phone home'?

Possibly...I block so many things I've lost track. Plus I'm still clueless as to what programs the trojans have binded themselves to.

Burn whatever you really need and your sure is clean to a cd. Do a good old nice format and re-install xp. Then stop downloading **** from stupid sites and especially from warez. Then you should be fine.

hehe, I always used to try to write viruses and logic bombs when I knew not what I was doing, I usually ended up having to reinstall everything because they deleted all my dll's or something. I recently also almost ..........ed myself, I had some old source code I had written, I was like, hmm lets see what this is so I chose run instead of compile, luckily I realized what it was half waythrough compiling and I cancelled as fast as I could, it would have overwriten everyfile with itself in the current directory and the directory below it (I ran it in c:\).
