What's the format of the INDEX.DAT files? (You know, like the one found in your local cookies folder.)
There a plenty of programs that will read/write from/to those files, but rather than buying a $35 prog, I could make one.
Is it complicated?

Like get a hex editor and lots of paper to make lots of notes on your observations?
I'm sure there is an API for them somewhere, there's pretty much one for everything else in windows-land.
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

Any idea on how I might find them? I have no idea what they would be refered as.
Nevermind, I found out you can DELETE them in command prompt after terminating all net browsers and the desktop/explorer.
