Thread: GetWindowText doesn't return the text

    I used to have dial and it was a forum error that made me push it 2 times.

    I have yet to fix my program... even though the answer to my problem is now clear.

    No, it wouldn't. Since he is using the windows API, then the only compatibility he needs to worry about is across windows systems. In that case TCHAR is compatible with both unicode and non-unicode builds whereas char is compatible with non-unicode builds only. If you are programming with the Windows API, it is always a good idea to make your code unicode compliant with the tchar.h routines and macros.
