    Visual Studio Service Packs

I was looking through microsoft.com for any updates to software i have installed.. and i found out that Visual Studio 6 is up to service pack 6 now..

Anyway, i downloaded it and i was wondering, do i need to installed all the previous service packs (1 through 5)? or just service pack 6? i couldnt find anything related to this on the site.

    Thanks in advance

Service packs are cumulative - they include everything in prior packs as well.
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

Don't confuse a "Visual Studio" service pack with a "Visual C++" service pack.

Also, it's worth sticking with SP5 if you want to use the Processor Pack (compiler support for SSE2, SIMD and lots of other friendly acronyms AMD/Intel comes up with), because I think it won't let you install it with SP6.
