    Question WIN32 API for ....

Would it be a bad idea to program simple games (like pong and things like that) in WIN32 API. if it is can you tell me a good language to program it in?

Win32 API is okay for pong, Tic Tac To, chess, checkers, or anything that's not super processor-intensive. If you are going to do anything like an RPG, or anything else, then go to DirectX, or else you are going to go crazy because it's the slowest game on earth.
