    "specified cast is not valid"

    Hey All
Ive been trying to get VS to work all day and finally it would start without popping the error "the application cannot start" but now another problem.....

Whenever dragging a standard control on a Form, I receive the error:
    "specified cast is not valid"
Any idea on how to solve this error?
I have attached a screenshot of the error incase it could be of any help...

    OS: XP
    NO SPs
    MS IDE 2002
    .Net framework 1.0

    Thanx all

    I see no screen shot
    I see no code either.
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

Image was too large to attach... sorry.

See link instead. This is what happens whenever a control is dropped on the form. Any control.
