    MSN messenger window handles

A number of threads are around about AIM windows and text retrieval etc. I use MSN messenger, and with SPY++ I found out that the entire client area of the chat window is one control, so I can't actually get an HWND to an edit control. Does anyone know how I can retrieve the text from those controls?

    Lightbulb An idea ...

Well, CodeGuru.com has something for this (very similar to it). Here's the URL: http://www.codeguru.com/internet/MSNChat_p1.html

Thanks for the link, but that only works for earlier versions of MSN. In MSN 6.0, there is just one class, DirectUIHWND or something, I can't remember. I think I read somewhere about .COM interfacing with it or something. Does anyone know anything about that?
