    Best Free Compiler

    Hi,

had a search for this but....

I need to do some compiling on a windows box. What's the best free compiler? I use gcc on Linux.

I don't need a graphical interface, just something that's lightwieght but fully functional.

I've used Borland before. Is it the best to use?

    TIA, rotis23

    From the other thread...

    >>> I have Dev-Cpp but I'm getting alot of error messages...

... don't you just love that! "The compiler tells me there's things wrong with my program so I need a new compiler" - oh boy.
Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity unto the dream.
