Hi! I have searched everywhere for a comprehensive, beginners guide to COM. I am sorry if this question is asked often, but I have yet to find ANYTHING that is very good. I am short on cash, so buying a book is just not possible right now. Thank you so much for any help you may provide! ^_^
If you can possibly help it, don't bother learning COM. It is a confusing, overly complex and obsolete technology.
I am going to be working in Direct x, and I really do need to know it. I know many people would suggest learning something like SDL, Opengl, ect. However, Direct x is the only graphics library that really suits my needs.
