    appending LOWORD(lParam) to string

    How can I append a LOWORD(lParam) to a string ( it's of type string not char *)
    none...

    I'd convert the LPARAM to a 'char *' using itoa() and then work from there. I'm not familiar with 'string' types so I can't help you there.
