    What do you use??

I selected API because I just got a book 'Sams teach yourself windows programming in 21 days' and seems exciting. Never tried anything else though.

    Depends......

I have VC++ so I use MFC for GUI stuff (even though I call a lot of APIs directly)

API calls for most simple stuff........

Try a little ATL now and again....

I selected API because I'm trying to teach myself to program for Windows with Petzold's book (I love it so far, I actually get it!)
