Where to start...
I want to write a simple (but visually nice looking) user interface. The user interface will need to do the following:
1. Kick off a process.
2. Accept user input.
3. Display output from the process that it kicks off.
My question is: Where do I start? ie-sample code, resources,etc..
My question is a serious one and I want to learn how to do this.

You start by doing a search for "Windows AND Tutorials"....
If you can master that first step then you are on your way

I'm sorry, but Rob is right. There is a FAQ, (Frequently Asked Questions), on this board which lists some tutorials, there is a link to it at the bottom of this page. Try, in addition, the directory links from the front page. There is also a board search option, link at the top of this page, which will enable you to search other peoples questions, (and this one does come up from time to time, to time, to time...), and there is of course google, where the suggested search will produce hundreds of results.
