    Pausing Unicode

I was hoping if it was possible to undefine Unicode for a section of a program because one of the library functions that I want to use requires Unicode to not be defined.

That doesn't sound right but here is a solution anyway. Have one c file support Unicode and that one will use whatever it is that you are using. And the other will contain all that you have now. And link them together for your exe. This should work.
