Does anyone know where I can look for a good simple tutorial for learning the windows API? I don't mean just the introduction to how to create a window. Perhaps a little more would do. And, err...does anyonw here use DevCPP at all???

No need to get uptight Fordy; it's been taken care of.
Try the Winprog Win32 API tutorial for a page covering topics more advanced than window creation, including GDI and animation.
Sunlight's page considers DirectX programming along with an expansive Windows FAQ.
Other than that, perform a search on the boards, cruise through the directory found on the site, or query Google. And yes, quite a few use Dev-C++.
