    processes

Processes. I've see this term many times but what are they?
And what function do they serve?
Try to help all less knowledgeable than yourself, within
the limits provided by time, complexity and tolerance.

A process is the broad term for a program that's running in memory.....

When a program is loaded, the system creates a Process object to manage the running program........then the system creates a 4GB address space, and maps the exe and any resources & dlls into this......
