Thread: Dev C on WIndows Vista

I have dev C++ installed on my Windows Vista OS. I need to do some topic search, but whenever I click on the 'help' option , it shows the following message:

The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which was used in previous versions of Windows and it is not supported in Windows Vista.

Cannot figure out the actual problem with my OS. Is there any way I can get the 'help' option working? Or else is there some other means for getting help with my topic search on dev C++?

Go here, download and install. I still fail to see why Microsoft doesn't keep it there for compatibility reasons, though.

For windows development, just go get Visual Studio Express, its free.
