I am looking for APIS that would allow me to use C and the certain API to take complete controll of the Window OS Vista Volume manager ..
be able to meddle with Master volume , mic volume , Wave etc ..

You can only take control in that you can change the settings, the user can just change them back though, and its generally a bad idea to directly change the users settings. They can alwasy turn teh physical volume down if you do something annoying.
