    GetwindowText problem

    hey there i am trying to get an integer input from an editbox using the getwindowtext function i know it gets strings,is there anyway to make it accept integer cause i am getting the next error:

    "cannot convert parameter 2 from 'int' to 'LPSTR'"

    You'll have to convert the string into an integer yourself. Using something like strtol() would work, I expect.

    GetWindowText(hwnd,xvect=strtol(text,&pEnd,strlen( text)),strlen(text));

    like that?

    Absolutely not. You're just guessing.
    Use a documentation on the web. It's good practice.

    No, you would need to get the text out of there as a string, and then call strtol() [or some other function to convert it to integer].
