Hi all, I am having some serious weirdness on one of my systems. It is an 875P chipset (Intel Pentium 4 processor). I have been having issues with USB and configuring the drives (USB controller chips are just dead in my opinion, won't ever work). I decided that re-installing the chipset software might help.
Upon installing the driver updates for my chipset, I also ran the Intel chipset identification utility. Unfortunately, it (the intel chipset identification utility) always says that my chipset type cannot be identified. Is it possible that I'm incorrectly installing the chipset drivers? I tried installing this before and after a format and re-install of the OS (XP home). This same utility works on the other systems in my house.
