I was downloading a couple of TV shows while I was at work. This was done by divx player, which also likes to crash all the time.

When it crashes I am left with a .part file, which only it can seem to play. The problem I have is that when I actually try and play anything using divx player it crashes, and If I am lucky enough for it to successfully run for longer than 10 minutes the sound and video become more and more out of synch.

I usually play stuff with WMP or Real because at lest they work, but they dont recognise a .part extension. Since pretty much all I am missing are the end credits I figured if I could change the file extension to .divx they may be able to play them even if some stuff in the header is wrong.

Is there anyway I can change the file extension easily in WinXP? I cant seem to work out how.
