I'm just wondering. Visual Studio Standard costs something like $250 or so and it contains more than just Visual C++. What features does the paid version (standard edition, not the pro edition) have that the express edition does not? I intend on making games and later for commercial (for sale). Is it worth getting even though I would otherwise have little or no use for C# and whatever else Visual Studio Standard has?
