Does anyone know? In case I left out details, as I have a habit of doing, on the projects/solutions section on the far left, there are 3 "folders". One is for headers, the one below it for resources, and the one at the bottom is for source files. What I'm asking is what is the "resources" folder used for?

It's used for listing project 'resources' - scripts(*.rc) containing dialog, menu, image information etc and for associated resource data.

So can BMPs and TGAs be included here and referenced without having to specify a path? That is, instead of specifying "C:\\path\\to\\file\\example.bmp" as the file to open a BMP image, you'd just put the file in "resources" and reference it as "example.bmp" instead?
