    CD to MP3 Converter

I am looking for a good CD to MP3 Converter (ripper). Don't need anything fancy or high dollar, something shareware or freeware would be fine. As long as I can extract audio files from a CD and convert them to MP3. A quick google search reveals tons of them but I was wondering if anyone knew of a good, reliable one.

    I really enjoy cdex:

The C++ source is also on the site.

    foobar2000.

I don't use it for mp3 encoding, only ogg, but I'm sure it can encode mp3s. It can also handle non-standard CD layouts (such as audio-data-audio, which most rippers for Windows completely choke on because of a limitation of Windows' handling of CDs).
