Has anyone ever used any of the CD/DVD Burners with the Lightscribe Technology?
I have heard that it is pretty slow but I am curious if it is actually worth it or if it is more of just a novilty.

It's not very slow. I took under 15 minutes... and is quite cool thing.
Lightscribe CDs/DVDs usually cost almost twice as much as the normal ones, but I'd say it's worth it, they are cheap anyway.

Personally I have purchased a Lightscribe drive, but I don't really intend to use it. People claim the discs are only double the price, but so far I can't find discs for less than $1 each (blank DVDs in the area sell for about $0.25 to $0.33 each).
I usually just use a marker on the disc and occasionally print a label through my monochrome laser printer. Looks about the same.
Well, I did not know that you had to have a certain disk to use the lightscribe... Makes sense though.
