Meow! Tracking cookies are coming through as FIRST party tracking cookies Meow!
I blocked all third party cookies. This took care of the problem for a while. The isp has advertizing on the main page and the tracking cookies should and were coming through as third party cookies. Like getting caught with both paws in the cookie jar. We pay for service and the isp also uses advertizing for revenue is this fair? Like paying for tv with advertizing? The objection is that they use tracking cookies. I do not know if this is true for all isps but it is a disturbing trend.
How is it that the tracking cookies are coming through as FIRST party cookies? If they are supposedly assumed a third party? I know that there are some dll files that come with these evil things that will repair them that spybot does not delete.
I have look in to several sites like howsutffworks and wilipedia and done several searches with no more information than already knew.
How do I know it is the isp? Ok here is how. Ran spybot before logon clean box. Made sure computer setting was set to block all third party cookies. Logon then ran spybot again. Tracking cookies found.
