    "connection timed out" for VNC

    VNC server is on WinXP, sometimes I get "connection timed out" when I try to access the server machine. Rebooting the server solves the problem, but it will happen again after a while.

    Anyone knows what's the problem?

    "Connection timed out" errors occur when the client gives up trying to connect to the server. This can be due to a number of problems; I'm not going to get into them here. Try adjusting the "timeout setting" to make it try longer.
