    Increasing voltage

Anyone know how to increase voltage to the CPU fan? i really need more RPMs on it. I want to input say 14 - 16 volts as to usual 12

Check the websites for the motherboard and/or BIOS for your system.
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

if your mobo/bios doesn't support extra voltage or different proc fan speeds, it's probably best just to consider an alternative to the heatsink/fan thing...

besides, there's nothing more awesome than being able to tell people you're running a water-cooled machine

okay, maybe there is... but I'd still like to be able to do that...

    I'm running a water-cooled machine.

I hose it down every night.
