Does anyone know a decent tutorial or know any good books for the development of bootloaders for operating systems. Im looking into operating system development (32 bit), but the only resources i can find cover the inplementation of bootloaders for FAT12 floppy disks, as i dont have a floppy drive i was considering either a USB pen or cd rom, but everything seems so dated that i can find much info on use with modern filesystems/media. This is, im asuming its possible to write a loader to the first sectors of a cdrom/usb stick without to much complication
