    Replacing a notebook drive

    I'm replacing a notebook harddrive in a Inspiron 2600 in a week or so, and im wondering if this one would fit? How do you know?

    i'd buy it right from dell but im trying to save him some cash.

    I don't know why it wouldn't. The only thing I can say is, I hope Dell's HDs are easier to get at than Sony's are.

    Dells are usualy fairly easy, they dont put them under the entire board like most companies do. Thnx for the info.
