    Question Additional hard drives

    I've heard that it is possible to add another hard drive to a pc or laptop. I just don't know how.

    Also, I have an IBM thinkpad, and there's something wrong with the battery. Every time I use it, I have to keep it plugged in. How do I change the battery?

    refer to a thing called as the manual which you got with your thinkpad.... its very useful u know. things like changing your battery and putting in more harddrives will be dealt with in the manual
    Code:
    >+++++++++[<++++++++>-]<.>+++++++[<++++>-]<+.+++++++..+++.[-]>++++++++[<++++>-] <.>+++++++++++[<++++++++>-]<-.--------.+++.------.--------.[-]>++++++++[<++++>- ]<+.[-]++++++++++.

    indeed! and you should be carefull to check the jumpers settings and check if your bios recognizes the driver depending on what you want the driver to be set as, master or slave.
    When no one helps you out. Call google();

    It is "possible" in both cases, but much harder in laptops. You're better off replacing your current drive in a laptop with a bigger one because they often do not give you enough space to add a second drive.

    In the case of a PC, it's very easy if you have enough IDE/SATA/SCSI and power connectors. Although if you're a complete newbie to this type of thing, I don't recommend doing anything inside your PC unless you do some research and know what you're doing. You need to be concerned about grounding and jumper settings and understand master vs. slave. It is mostly trivial stuff, but easy to screw up if you don't know what you're doing.
