    new palm

    http://www.palmone.com/us/products/h...1/details.html

my g/f never EVER used hers so she gave it to me. Its never even been plugged in or powered on before. Score, its pretty nice. As far as basic palms go, is this a good one? Basically im wondering if its worth spending the 30 bux on the hotlink cable and a case.

it's a decent product, the thing is getting in the habit of using it.

I'd have to agree, I have 2 Palm VII's, it came with the hotsync cradle and everything. My wife and I used them for about 3 months and they are comfortably sitting under our bed awaiting a new owner.

Seems that some devices make life so convenient that it becomes inconenient, alot easier to just take notes with a trust ole No 2 pencil.

right, my life isn't confusing enough that I need a dedicated device to organize it. I'm in college and everything, but all I have to do is look at the courses syllubi to see when stuff is due.

Thought if I could afford one (maybe if I trimmed down on the amount of ramen noodles i purchase) i would get a pocketPC, beacuse that would be useful to me, me being a huge geek and all.
    Hmm

Pocket PCs are great. I got mine from dell about a year ago or so. It keeps me up to date with deadlines, meetings, to do lists ect. The part I love the best is the native sinking with outlook, I can't tell you how many times that saved my ass.
