    Windows Explorer

my parents are having trouble with windows explorer in XP...
i'm not familiar with XP so i'm having a hard time trying to troubleshoot...do you have any suggestions as to why it opens in my step-dads account, but not in my mothers. every time my mother tries to open it she gets that extremely informative "Windows Explorer has caused an error, would you like to send it?" message. the fact that it works in one account but not the other has me stumped.
i seem to have GCC 3.3.4
But how do i start it?
I dont have a menu for it or anything.

scan her account for spyware, and run an antivirus program such as AVG. If that doesnt fix it you probably need to reinstall winxp.

    nope...

it turns out that certain files associations do not agree with win explorer XP...removeing the file association between adobe photoshop and .tif files fixed it
