    cannot delete regprot

Whenever I close zipcentral on this computer, I get an error message that says:
"Cannot delete regprot: access is denied.
make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not write protected"
This is of course in a little box with a big red circle with an X in it, next to the text, another little red X in the corner, and an "OK' button at the bottom.
    So my questions are:
What is this all about? Did I not install it properly? Is this some sort of thing going on so that it thinks its out of memory?
Is that little "OK" button really supposed to make you feel better somehow? (That's not really specific to this issue, I'm just wondering).
    BTW, it's windows xp pro.

Well sort of. I forgot to mention that regprot is actually a different program than zipcentral. I just assumed (and I could be wrong) that the problem lie with zipcentral since it only comes up
when I try to close it.
There must be some reason that it thinks its closing zipcentral is closing regprot.

I'm not sure of this , but did you try to scan your computer for spyware? And can you recall the last prgrams you've installed before having this issue?

I'm pretty careful about that sort of thing. I use AVG for anti-virus and ZoneAlarm for a firewall. I run Spybot and Adaware on a regular basis, and Hijack this occaisionally (I save the logs so I can compare them, and I haven't seen anything that looks unusual).
The "regprot" that it is referring to is a registry protection program. It gives me a pop up whenever something is going to be written to the registry. This might have started after I installed that program, but I'm not sure.

how about you uninstall that program and use Spybot's SD-resident. It does the same thing. Hopefully you'll get rid of that problem.
