    problems installing graphics card

bought a new computer with an agp 8x/4x slot and a geforce fx 5200 card but the damn card wont fit into the slot. The box of the card says compatible with agp 2.0 and 3.0 so I would think everything should fit okay (I dont know too much about hardware so I might be wrong).

Here is a picture of the mobo:

and heres a picture of a card with the same connectors as mine:

anyone know how to remove that white piece of plastic at the edge of the slot or any other way to make the card fit?

    dude...you're kidding right???

push that white tab down and away from the slot, it will unlock and allow room for the card, then push it back to lock the card in.

Thanks waldo, that worked. I did try to move it at first but it was in there really tight and I didnt want to push too hard for fear of breaking something

    FYI

boards are meant to bend, when I built my first computer (for myself) I had a hell of a time getting the board to fit into the back panel good enough to screw it down....little did I know I had an extra female connector right under the side of the board that was causing resistance...anyway, when I moved it into my new case I noticed the board was warped, the middle is about a half inch lower than the sides . Works fine though, so don't worry about breaking something as long as you're working on a flat surface.
