Hi, cool forum.
When i download the old school games such as Street Fight 2 and so on (Legal downloads) i run them and there in a small box and the graphics are great, but when i goto full screen it turns into old blocky looking graphics like a comm64.
I have a G-Force4 128mb card in it.
Is there anyway to get the graphics to look as good as they are in small screen when i goto full screen? Ive mucked around with my screen resulotion but it didnt seem to help that much.
I fail to see how this relates to programming games. Perhaps the Tech Board would be more appropriate?
when its in a window, that is the games native resolution.
when switching to fullscreen it stays in that same resolution its just stretched to fit the screen.
btw: this is a programming forum. at least you could have posted this in the tech board.

Is this the PC version, or for an emulator? If it's for an emulator, make sure an option such as scanline emulation is on to give you that TV-like feel. This helps disguise the blockyness. Or, turn on the bilinear filter if the emulation program has an option like that. That'll blur the picture just a smiggin, to make it look more smooth.
If it's a PC version the best you can do is output it with a tv-out video card to a low resolution screen such as a television.

Echo the people that said keeping it in a smaller window is the answer. When you full-screen it, most times it will just stretch it. You may be able to change some settings in the property of the shortcut to the game that would handle the fullscreen, but I'm not sure.
