    Ipv6 ping problem

    I'm unable to ping my own link-local address in Windows XP SP1 on my laptop. On my other computer it works fine.
    Code:
    Nätverkskort 5: Ethernet: Anslutning till lokalt nätverk
      Guid {38E280C5-C112-486B-AF55-1059F15F9CE6}
      använder grannupptäckning
      använder router-upptäckning
      länkskiktsadress: 00-0b-db-17-9f-a0
    	preferred link-local fe80::20b:dbff:fe17:9fa0, livstid infinite
    	multicast interface-local ff01::1, 1 referenser, kan inte rapporteras
    	multicast link-local ff02::1, 1 referenser, kan inte rapporteras
    	multicast link-local ff02::1:ff17:9fa0, 1 referenser, senaste rapporterare
      länkens MTU 1500 (den faktiska länkens MTU 1500)
      aktuell hoppgräns 128
      nåbarhetstid 42000 ms (basvärde 30000 ms)
      återöverföringsintervall 1000 ms
      DAD-överförningar 1
      standardplatsprefixlängd 48
    Code:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Petter>ping6 fe80::20b:dbff:fe17:9fa0%5

    Skickar ping till fe80::20b:dbff:fe17:9fa0%5
    från fe80::20b:dbff:fe17:9fa0%5 med 32 byte data:

    Begäran gjorde timeout.

    Ping-statistik för fe80::20b:dbff:fe17:9fa0%5:
    	Paket: skickade = 1, mottagna = 0, förlorade = 1 (100 % förlust),
    Ctrl+C
    ^C
    Sorry for the Swedish version of Windows.

    Does anyone have an idea why I'm having problems? I've just reinstalled ipv6.

    Perhaps I should add that my laptop uses home edition and the other computer is using professional.

    Maybe you unknowingly set a firewall to block pings?

    Well, there could be some setting with that particular adapter (my network adapter).

    ::1 works but that address is on the "Pseudo-interface for loopback", not my network adapter.
