Ever since i got this new computer my kazzaa cant connect, even tho everything else works fine and the router is installed properly. Before kazzaa set itsself up, but even after i enabled the router to open the ports for kazzaa it cant connect. Any ideas?

Don't use kazza. The computer gods are trying to tell you something.

use Soulseek (google it). It makes kazaa look like a baby's filesharing service.

Don't get it if you don't intend to actually share files, though. it's called filesharing for a reason, y'know.

Or try Emule (www.emule-project.net). I don't know about Soulseek, but emule is a free, open-source app that I like.

Download giFT and then get a frontend compatible with your OS. Download the FastTrack plugin. Use it. Be happy.

kazaa lite sets a random port so you cant open the port in your router ot unless you open them all but you can go into the options and choose which port you want to use then open that port in your router i dont reccomend using 1214

Check out this page for alternatives to kazaa or kazaa lite. there a couple other p2p clients that use the fasttrack network that kazaa and kazaa lite share so it shouldn't be a problem. click here
