DVD ripper

I want to convert DVD to VCD.

I have tried #1 DVD ripper
and Advanced DVD ripper

I found out that former is better.
Nero Recode, come along with Nero Vision, can't convert to VCD.

Any comment or idea about better DVD ripper?

Try TMPGEnc Plus & TMPGEnc DVD Author. Those two are all you'll need. Well, of course you'll need a burning program after conversion, but thats it.

DVD 2 SVCD (the link I gave) is essentialy a suite of software, part of which uses TMPGEnc (you must provide this). It produces far better quality movies than just TMPGEnc alone. Basically it puts all of the different functions (ripping the audio, ripping the video, encoding, etc...) into the hands of specialized programs, each one basically the best at what it does. Everything but the video encoder (TMPGEnc, Cinema Craft, or Canopus) is free.
